Guest will enjoy a 75 minute wine tasting where Pur Noire and Houston Groove Society will pair Pur Noire’s wines with different songs that match the wines. What to Expect
Wine Tasting
Your wine tasting is a guided, interactive, wine centered, tasting experience. This means that a Pur Noire Wine Associate will be an active part of your experience. This is not a pre-poured flight of wines that is delivered to your table with a notecard. This is also far from the experience you get a wine bar where you’re poured a wine and then you’re left to engage in dialogue with your table.
Depending on the tasting option you’ve reserved, you can expect the Wine Associate to pour between three and six different wines, tell you all about them, and remain at your table as much as possible to engage in further conversation with you about the wines that you taste. The Wine Associate is very much a part of your experience. They are going to guide you through the tasting while sharing a great deal of information about each wine. It is an interactive experience that we can’t wait to share with you!
Food
Our tasting experience is primarily focused on our wines. While we do not have a kitchen we do offer charcuterie boards to our guests during tastings. Charcuterie Must Be Ordered 24 Hours Before Your Wine Tasting. Once you have booked your wine tasting, in your confirmation email will be a link under FOOD to purchase the charcuterie size option of your choice. Please note, the charcuterie is a combination of pork, cheeses, fruit, nuts, & crackers. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate those.
Wine Club Members
When we are not using the winery area for winemaking, it will serve as a member lounge featuring chic lounge seating, bottle service, wine by the glass, and daily light bites. For more on our Wine club and the perks visit our wine club page.
Parking
Street parking is complimentary and is good for 2 hours. We also validate 2 hours of garage parking in the South Victory Park garage on Victory Ave.
FAQs
Reservations are not required but encouraged. If we have the capacity, we are happy to provide you a tasting experience. However, reservations are given priority and a reservation is the best way to guarantee that we are able to accommodate you.
No. Since we are a branded tasting room and not a wine bar, we only do wine tastings of Pur Noire wines.
Guests can order charcuterie boards 24 hours in advance of their tasting. However, we do not operate as a restaurant or have a regular food menu.
We often have special ticketed events that feature live music and other forms of entertainment but we do not have regular entertainment in the Tasting Room. The experience is centered around our wines.
Club members are be able to order wine by the glass. Non-members are only able to do tastings and purchase bottles to go unless visiting during our happy hour times which are Tuesday – Thursday from 4PM – 7PM.
No, because we are not a bar or nightclub, we are not serving spirits, or mixed drinks and we will not have bottle girls, sections, etc.
